About Irhad — Founder & Lead Craftsman
Mr. Normans Home Services was founded by Irhad, a Bosnian immigrant who came to the United States in the early 1990s. He was seven years old, his family spoke little English, and they settled in a small trailer park community in Boise, Idaho that welcomed them in.
One neighbor was a man named Norman, always tinkering with motorcycles in his garage. When Irhad's bike broke down, Norman handed him a wrench and taught him to fix it himself. Over the years Norman taught him how to plan a project, how to do the work right, and how to maintain what you build so it lasts.
Decades and many projects later, Irhad started his own home services company and named it after the man who taught him the trade. "Be a good person and do good work, and everything else will be good on its own." That standard is why the company is a member of the Craftsmen Association of America.
